U18 MEN (Merv Emms Trophy)

Since the tournament's move to Moreton Bay, Victoria Metro has set the benchmark in the U18 Men’s competition.

Back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024 highlighted their dominance, before a William Hamilton led Victoria Country ended their fellow statesmen’s run to claim the 2025 championship.

With depth spread across all the states, this year’s field shapes as one of the most open in recent memory, with several contenders capable of making a title run.

U18 WOMEN (Maree Jackson Trophy)

Recent years in the U18 Women’s competition have delivered a tightly contested race for the Maree Jackson Trophy, with South Australia Metro, New South Wales Metro and Victoria Metro all claiming titles across the past three editions.

The Victoria stronghold does hold ultimate bragging rights, and in particular, Victoria Metro with 28 championships across the tournament's history spanning back to 1966.

This year’s pool structure sets the stage for an intriguing tournament, with the two top contenders, South Australia Metro and New South Wales Metro set to battle it out in Pool B, whilst Victoria Metro headline Pool A.

National Junior Wheelchair Championship (Kevin Coombs Trophy)

The National Junior Wheelchair Championship (formerly known as the Kevin Coombs Cup) remains a vital pathway for the Australian Rollers and Gliders, offering athletes the chance to represent their region on the national stage.

Western Australia won three of the past five titles, and they’ll have an opportunity to regain the crow with a simplified four team format.

The 2026 edition will feature WA entering as favourites, while New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland create an ultra-competitive pack.
