Individual standouts emerge across the U16 mens and women draws as pool play wraps and finals begins at Red Energy Arena.

With pool play complete and classification and finals underway at Red Energy Arena, the individual statistical leaders across both the U16 Men's and Women's draws are starting to take shape.

U16 MEN

Tasmania's G. Boxhall has been the standout performer of the tournament, leading the competition in both scoring (24.4 points per game) and assists (6.8 per game), while also sharing the lead in steals (2.8 per game). His well-rounded output has been a rare bright spot for a Tasmanian side that has had to fight hard in a competitive Pool A.

South Australia Country's J. Green (19.7 points per game) and Victoria Country's B. Anderson (17.3 points per game, and the competition's best three-point shooter at 48.0%) round out some of the top scoring performances.

On the boards, New South Wales Country's D. Brown leads the way with 14.4 rebounds per game, backing up a strong all-around campaign that has also seen him post 16.8 points per game. Northern Territory's T. Cahalan tops the shot-blocking charts at 3.4 per game, while teammate L. Maher leads the competition in minutes played (37.9 per game).

Victoria Metro's dominant campaign has been reflected in the plus-minus rankings, with E. Honeyford (+23.7), F. Mackintosh (+22.8), D. Yak (+22.7) and E. Cleary (+22.0) all featuring inside the top four — a strong indicator of just how comprehensively the side has controlled games this week. New South Wales Metro's J. Onyema leads the field goal percentage charts, shooting an efficient 60.5% from the field.

U16 WOMEN

South Australia Metro's C. George headlines the scoring charts at 19.0 points per game, narrowly ahead of Tasmania's E. Boucher (18.8) and New South Wales Metro's O. Waters (18.5). George's teammate G. Davison leads the rebounding count with 13.0 per game, while Waters also tops the blocks category at 3.3 per game — a rare double threat inside and on the perimeter.

Tasmania's C. Neate leads the competition in assists (5.6 per game), just ahead of Victoria Country's J. Hill (5.5), who also leads all players in minutes played (31.9 per game). Victoria Metro's V. Santamaria has been prolific on the defensive end, topping the steals charts at 6.4 per game.

Victoria Metro's dominant week is reflected clearly in the plus-minus rankings, with M. Mrdic (+35.8), Santamaria (+34.4) and I. Tamburrini (+27.4) occupying three of the top four spots. Mrdic has also been remarkably efficient, leading the competition in field goal percentage at 62.7%. New South Wales Metro's K. Shillingsworth has been deadly from beyond the arc, converting an outstanding 75.0% of her three-point attempts.
